The pole is made from 2" diameter galvanized steel and the three pieces fit snugly together. This post also works as an accessory for the #15-7 Whitney Design 5-line outdoor retractable dryer. It is shipped with the bolts and nuts for mounting the receiver bracket, a plastic ground sleeve for anchoring the post into the ground, and a plastic post cap for the top of the post. Item #42-0

Wonderful Idea!
I love my new retractable clothesline. I am saving money and also the environment. I wasnt able to cement the pole into the ground but used other means to secure it and it works great. I am very happy with the timely delivery and ease of set up.
Drying power
This is the second clothes line and post like this I've purchased. It does a great job and it hides away when not in use. The retractable mechanism has never failed. The pole is very sturdy and easy to install and great that it comes in three pieces.
Great product
purchased for my mom who lives in a retirment village with very strict CCR's. Works great for her . will purchase another if needed. shipping was on time. I also liked the quality of the dryer,substansial and well built.
